Beyond Data Privacy Policy

Beyond is committed to protecting your privacy. This Data Privacy Policy tells you about Beyond’s policy and practice for the collection, use, processing, storage, transfer, protection, and disclosure of information that we may collect about you through our beyond.org website, email communications, and online services.

If you wish to discontinue receiving marketing and/or non-transactional emails from us, you may opt out by contacting our Donor Relations staff (donors@beyond.org) or using an “unsubscribe” link in any email. We would like to emphasize that this provision does not apply to transactional emails
related to donations or other relationships with Beyond.
In the event you choose not to provide certain personal information, we may not be able to respond completely or adequately to your questions. When adequate information is provided, we will use your that information for the limited purpose of sending you important notices relating to your donations and changes to our policies and agreements, or for other reasons permitted by applicable law.

Beyond takes the security of Personal Information seriously. To protect your Personal Information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss or alteration, Beyond uses technical and organizational security measures to prevent any unauthorized disclosure or access.

Data Security Breach

Beyond has implemented strict security controls and processes to protect our information systems. Beyond has a Data Breach Notification Policy and an established Incident Response Team that will react once we become aware of any unauthorized access to our information systems or databases. If any data security breach occurs that may impact your Personal Information, you will be notified as soon as possible once the breach has been determined.

Beyond is committed to taking reasonable steps to ensure that any requests for Personal Information to be forgotten will be executed in a timely manner once the request is received. Beyond will do everything possible to erase your Personal Information if you withdraw your consent (opt out); however, Beyond will not be able to erase all of your Personal Information if it is technically impossible due to limitations to existing technology, or for legal reasons (e.g.
Beyond is mandated by local law to keep the Personal Information).

Children’s Privacy

Due to the nature of Beyond’s endeavors, we do not market to or provide any services specifically for children. Consequently, Beyond does not collect Personal Information for the purpose of marketing or creating user profiles for children.
